The inversion suggest a correction of 2.4 and the mean of the crossovers is
-0.8. CARINA suggest that no adjustment is applied but an adjustment of -0.1 ppm
is applied to GLODAP.
We suggest that no adjustment is applied.

Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment.
Cross-overs with core cruises do not warrant an adjustment.

The inversion suggest a correction of 1.01 and the mean of the crossovers is

GLODAP. The result from the crossovers is inconclusive and any adjustments are

Cross-overs with reliable cruises (316N19941201, 320619960503) appear to confirm
that oxygen of cruise 74DI19930206 be too high.
At the Paris meeting we thus agreed on an adjustment of oxygen for cruise
74DI19930206 of: 0.96

74DI19930206 - cfc12
Surface saturation of CF12 20% lower than for CFC11 (80 compared to 100%) and
clear deviation in CFC11-CFC12 relationship. Comparison with other cruise close
in time and space (35MF19930123) the CFC12 values really seem too low. We
recommend an adjustment of 1.2.

74DI19930206 - nitrate
The inversion suggest a correction of 1.01 and the mean of the crossovers is
0.995. CARINA suggest 1.00 adjustment, and GLODAP applied an adjustment of 0.36
umol/kg.
It seems that possibly this cruise is a bit low in nitrate, but this is
inconclusive and below the 2% threshold.
We suggest that no adjustment is applied.

74DI19930206 - salinity
The inversion suggest a correction of 2.4 and the mean of the crossovers is
-0.8. CARINA suggest that no adjustment is applied but an adjustment of -0.1 ppm
is applied to GLODAP.
We suggest that no adjustment is applied.

74DI19930206 - salinity
Average of all cross-overs is: 0
Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment.
Cross-overs with core cruises do not warrant an adjustment.

74DI19930206 - oxygen
Average of all cross-overs is: 1.044
Inversion analysis suggests an adjustment of: 0.963
Additional inversion results by Steven van Heuven confirms this.
Cross-overs with reliable cruises (316N19941201, 320619960503) appear to confirm
that oxygen of cruise 74DI19930206 be too high.
At the Paris meeting we thus agreed on an adjustment of oxygen for cruise
74DI19930206 of: 0.96

74DI19930206 - silicate
Average of all cross-overs is: 0.981
Inversion analysis suggests an adjustment of: 0.971
Cross-overs with other reliable cruises (316N19941201, 06AQ19960317,
320619960503) does not warrant a significant adjustment.
I suggest NO adjustment of silicate for cruise 74DI19930206.

74DI19930206 - phosphate
Average of all cross-overs is: 0.983
Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment (1.007).
Phosphate of cruise 74DI19930206 may be somewhat low, but the variation of
cross-overs does not support a significant adjustment.
I suggest NO adjustment of phosphate for cruise 74DI19930206.

74DI19930206 - nitrate
Average of all cross-overs is: 0.996
Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment (1.016).
All cross-overs together show a very consistent picture with only small
variation.
I suggest NO adjustment of nitrate for cruise 74DI19930206.
