06MT19920701 - tco2
These data are no good, too low and not enough data to suggest adjustment, see
file 06MT19979701.pdf, excerpt from Nordic Seas DIC paper on these data.

06MT19920701 - tco2
The original cruise in the data base (06MT199203222) was split into three
independent cruise
This cruise is both in AMS and NA.
The average of the offsets is -8, but is biased by two low values (Hudson 1992
and a JH1995.
The inversion suggest an adjustment of 2.8.
Although it appears that the DIC values might be on the low side, there is not
enough evidence to suggest an adjustment.

06MT19920322 - tco2
The average of all cross overs (manual) is -5.65.
The average of all cross overs (automatic) is -3.52.
Crossovers with core cruises only suggests offsets of -6.20(manual) and
-0.16(automatic)
Only few crossovers performed manually, therefore higher confidence in running
cluster results.
Inversion results also suggest no adjustment (0.54 and -0.5 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
respectively).
Automatic results and inversion fall within limits.
Based on this I don't suggest any adjustment for the 06MT19920322 tco2 values.

06MT19920701 - alkalinity
Most of the crossovers are close to 0, but the average is biased by a few
outliers.
The inversion suggest an adjustment of -0.7.
Based on this, I suggest no adjustment.
I also suggest to change the qualtiy to good, even though there is some scatter
in the data. The larger scatter seen previously seems to be an effect of 3
different cruises being treated as one.

There are 11 xovers at latitude higher than 41N. The fitted offset wih them is
-3.4.
There are also another 5 xovers that covers all the section that suggest a
higher than +10 offset for this cruise.
Surface data seems to be low comparing with GLODAP data.
In general, the xovers seems very inconsistent and fully depends on the area of
the cross section.
This make very dificult to propose a good offset.

All xovers and output of inversions are refered on figure: "Report plot for
adjustments"
Real diff (Green dots) are the differences taken directly from xover routines.
The complete segment of error bar represents the xover standard deviation.
Yellow line stand for the offset calculated for this cruise.
Black stars stand for the offset calculated for the others cruises in the
xovers.
Blue squares stand for the Fitted differences that would be obtained from the
calculated offsets (Yellow line - black stars)
Red dots stand for the Residuals between the 'Real diff'(Green dots) and 'Fitted
diff' (Blue squares)
c suffix in the upper X axis labels stand for Core Cruises.

06MT19920322 - nitrate
The average of all cross overs is 0.979, suggesting that the nitrate might be a
bit low.
The inversion suggest an upward adjustment of 1.04 and 1.05 for WLSQ and WDSLQ,
respectively.
The cross over results vs. the core-cruises confirms that the nitrate is a bit
low.
Based on these evidence I suggest an adjustment of 1.04, in agreement with the
inversion results.

06MT19920322 - phosphate
The average of all cross overs is 1.063, suggesting that the phosphate values
are too high.
The inversion suggest a downward adjustment (0.96 for both WLSQ and WDSLQ).
The cross over results vs. the core-cruises confirms that the phosphate is high.
Based on these evidence I suggest an adjustment of 0.96, in agreement with the
inversion results.

too low.
The inversion suggest an upward adjustment (1.09 and 1.10, for WLSQ and WDSLQ,
respectively).
The cross over results vs. the core-cruises confirms that the silicate is too
low.
Based on these evidence I suggest an adjustment of 1.10, in agreement with the
inversion results.

06MT19920322 - oxygen
The average of all cross-overs is 1.034 revealing that the cruise is higher in
oxygen.
The inversion suggests a downward adjustment of 0.969 (WDLSQ) and 0.965 (WLSQ).
The cross-overs also suggests that this cruise needs a downward adjustment.
However, this cruise has few deep data and the cross-overs has been computed
sometimes with only 2 stations.
I suggest an adjustment of 0.969 to the oxygen values.
